Substrate requirement

The substrate and the masonry units must be prepared in accordance with the instructions of the architect and the masonry unit manufacturer.

Substrate preparation

When applying MM 3 masonry mortar, the substrate and the masonry units must be prepared in accordance with the instructions of the architect and the masonry unit manufacturer.

Preparation of the mixture

MM 3 masonry mortar is mixed with water at the construction site without lumps. Mixing can be done in a concrete mixer, by a horizontal mixer (e.g. PFT HM24), by hand mixer (using a suitable mixing arm) or by hand.

Consumption: approx. 1,8 kg/1 litre mortar. The exact amount of required material can be determined by test application.
