2200 Adhesive fillers
Adhesive fillers are a good way of bonding and mounting external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS). They are suitable for all mineral substrates such as brick, concrete, sand-lime brick or aerated concrete.
Thanks to their high adhesive strength, insulation boards with a high weight can be bonded. For dowel-free installation or exposed, wind-loaded applications, Cemix offers particularly powerful products.
Adhesive fillers are open to diffusion and breathable, i.e. permeable to water vapor and air. This means that the masonry remains dry and does not mold.
The reinforcing mesh is also installed using adhesive filler, as well as the substrate is leveled. This smoothes out any unevenness in the masonry or insulation boards and seals cracks and joints.
