A professionally executed moisture barrier with high-quality waterproofing materials is the basis for lasting protection of the building structure and hygiene. For this purpose, a waterproofing layer is applied to wall and floor surfaces to prevent water penetration, and then a tile adhesive, for example, is applied.
Elastic waterproofing compounds flexibly adapt to minimal movements of the substrate and have a crack-reducing effect, so that no leaks occur in the long term. Even better are crack-bridging sealants.
Liquid films or sealing slurries are particularly suitable for large-area waterproofing, while sealing tapes are used primarily for sealing transitions and connections.
