In wet rooms, optimum sealing of transitions and gaps between components is achieved with sanitary silicone. The flexible sealant is permanently elastic and can absorb movements and expansions of the surfaces without cracking or losing its sealing function.
A round cord is used as a spacer and expansion joint when tiling. This allows to absorb thermal or mechanical movements without cracking.
