PRE-SPRINKLER
For secure adhesion to any masonry
Optimum substrate preparation against stress and shrinkage cracks.
- Improves mechanical adhesion: Creates a rough, non-slip surface and better grip between masonry and base plaster.
- Balances the absorption behavior: Highly absorbent substrates dry out the plaster too quickly. The pre-sprinkler acts as a buffer and ensures low-stress setting behavior of the plaster.
- Prevents shrinkage cracks: The spray coating reduces the risk of such premature drying cracks.
Area of application
- Outdoors: wall
- Indoor: wall
Processing method
- For hand and machine processing
- Pre-sprinkler for external and internal walls in new and old residential buildings, industrial buildings before using base plasters. For masonry made of ceramic, brick, stone, concrete, aerated concrete, etc., and for wood wool boards to level the absorbency of the surface and increase the adhesion of the plaster.

Substrate requirement
The substrate must meet relevant standards and be sound, stable, and free from loose particles, dust, dirt, oil, mould release residues, and efflorescence.
Substrate preparation
Before starting work, cover all surfaces that need protection.
Any wall defects must be repaired at least three days in advance. Remove all loose plaster and fill large cracks and pipe grooves using base plaster.
If necessary, moisten the surface a few hours prior to application using a pre-sprinkler.
Preparation of the mixture
Pour 25KG of CEMIX 2002 CEMENT PRE-SPRINKLER into 5,6 L clean water (approximately 0,23 l/kg). Mix for 5 minutes with a slow-speed paddle mixer to a homogeneous mixture without lumps. Leave to rest for 3 minutes. Then mix again briefly.
