Substrate requirement
The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding agents and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough, dry, evenly absorbent and matured. The surface must not be frozen or water repellent. The substrate must be stable in volume.
Substrate preparation
Depending on the substrate’s water absorption and climatic conditions, apply CEMIX 2614 DEEP PRIMER on highly absorbent substrates, followed by a CEMIX 2613 BASIC PRIMER for pasty plasters. For smooth substrates, roughen the surface or apply a Cemix contact bridge to improve adhesion. Non-standard substrates must be treated with appropriate methods to achieve the required properties. Any unevenness should be smoothed using suitable Cemix materials and allowed to dry and cure completely.
The substrate shall comply with applicable codes, standards, or material manufacturer's recommendations.
Preparation of the mixture
Mix the CEMIX 2723 ACRYL PLASTER thoroughly before application using a slow-speed mixer with a suitable attachment. The consistency of the plaster can be adjusted depending on application conditions and shade saturation by adding a maximum of 1% clean water.
Mixing
Processing instructions
Apply the plaster evenly to the surface using a stainless steel trowel or another suitable tool. Smooth it down to match the grain size.
For a scratch-textured finish, create the desired pattern using circular movements. For grooved textures, structure the surface in the direction of the intended grooves. Clean the trowel regularly during application to maintain a consistent finish.
When using a machine, spray the plaster evenly in one layer using a suitable spray gun. No additional smoothing is required after application.
Application thickness

Recommended layer thickness | 2 mm |
Maximum layer thickness | 3 mm |
Consumption
Treatment after application
After application, protect the surface from direct sunlight, heat, high humidity, and draughts. Protect from frost and rain. Do not apply direct heat to accelerate drying.
Tool and cleaning instructions
Wash off tools with water immediately after finishing work. Clean dried residues mechanically.
