FACADE PAINT
Super-resistant acrylic paint
Durable facade protection for long-lasting aesthetic appeal
- High content of acrylic dispersion: provides resistance to mechanical stress, making the paint ideal for painting the entire facade surface.
- Thanks to its durability and easy cleaning: it is resistant to weathering and abrasion, has water-repellent properties, and is easy to wash.
- Increased concentration of white pigment: allows for good coverage in a single coat.
- The paint is fade-resistant: as it contains only inorganic lightfast pigments.
- It also dries quickly, and tinting is available upon request.
Area of application
- Outdoors: wall
- For plinth
Processing method
- For hand and machine processing
- Designed for vertical exterior surfaces (facades, plinths, fences, concrete elements without constant water contact).
- Painting of horizontal interior surfaces is possible, and for exposed areas—only if covered and under moderate load.
- Not recommended for heavily loaded exterior horizontal surfaces.
- Suitable for plastered and mineral substrates, provided they are properly leveled and primed beforehand.

Substrate requirement
The substrate must be dry, solid, and free of dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
When repainting, all loosely adhering, water-soluble, or decorative layers must be removed.
When working with chalking or old coatings, priming is mandatory.
When applying the primer, the formation of a glossy or slippery surface is not allowed.
Substrate preparation
Before starting work, protect surfaces that are not to be painted.
In case of heavy contamination or mold, wash with water and, if necessary, disinfect.
Priming: as a primer, CEMIX 2880 FACADE PAINT diluted with 15–20% water may be used (drying time at least 6 hours). When repainting lime or old coatings, priming is mandatory. For highly absorbent substrates, use CEMIX 2613 PRIMER, ensuring that no glossy or slippery surface forms.
Preparation of the mixture
Before use, thoroughly mix the contents of the bucket with a low-speed mixer until a uniform mass is obtained. For highly absorbent substrates or at high temperatures, water may be added in an amount not exceeding 5% of the mass (for a 25 kg bucket—up to 1.25 liters), adding it gradually with subsequent mixing. Dilution reduces the paint’s coverage, so water should only be added if necessary. Do not add any foreign substances. For a uniform shade when tinting, it is recommended to combine several packages in one container and mix thoroughly. If additional paint is needed, mix the new volume with the remaining paint. Before application, check the color on a test surface.

Processing instructions
The paint is always applied to a dry surface with a brush, a roller or airless equipment. When applying by roller, use a scraper grid. When using an airless equipment, follow the manufacturer's instructions for nozzle size and working pressure. Surfaces not accessible with a standard long-haired teddy roller (external and internal corners, ducts, narrow trellises, etc.) should always be pre-treated with a suitable brush or a smaller paint roller suitable for the conditions, for each layer of paint. Apply in 2 (in special case 3) layers. The next layer can be applied after drying. Under normal conditions (air temperature +20oC, relative air humidity 65%), this can be done after 4-6 hours. Low temperatures and high relative humidity will extend the drying time considerably.
The paint required to cover the final surface (or rather: all the surfaces painted with the same shade) is levelled out in a container of suitable size. For large surfaces where this method is not technically feasible for the amount of paint required for one layer, at least three cans of paint are first mixed in the container used for levelling. When one third of the paint thus prepared has been consumed, another layer of paint is poured into the container and mixed well with the rest, etc. Undiluted white paint from the same batch need not be mixed. Each wall surface is painted from one edge to the other continuously.
WARNING:
Our company is not responsible for the determination of material requirements.
SockelTOP is available in 9 basic colours and a choice of 80 specific colours from the Cemix Inspiration colour card. The colour of the applied SockelTOP plinth paint may vary slightly from the colours shown on the samples. The texture, base colour and colour homogeneity of the receptive surfaces of the façades may affect the final colour appearance, as may the weather conditions encountered during the application and the application technique. Be sure to order the paint required to apply to a certain surface from one batch, as there may be minimal colour variation between repeat orders and other batches. Please check the colour shade of the paint on a test area before application, as we are unable to accept any complaints about the colour shade after application.
