Substrate requirement

The substrate must be dry, solid, and free of dust, dirt, and other contaminants.
When repainting, all loosely adhering, water-soluble, or decorative layers must be removed.
When working with chalking or old coatings, priming is mandatory.
When applying the primer, the formation of a glossy or slippery surface is not allowed.

Substrate preparation

Protect surfaces that are not to be painted before starting work. In case of heavy contamination or mold, wash with water and, if necessary, disinfect.

Priming: Cemix 2613 Primer must be used as a primer. No water dilution is required. Ensure the surface is dry (at least 6 hours) before applying subsequent layers. When repainting lime or old coatings, priming is mandatory. Ensure that no glossy or slippery surface forms on the substrate.

Preparation of the mixture

Before use, thoroughly mix the paint in the original container or with a low-speed mixer using a suitable attachment until a homogeneous mass is obtained. If combining multiple batches, they should be pre-mixed together to ensure uniform color.

The substrate must be properly prepared, dry, and clean. Apply using a brush, roller, or spray gun.

Apply the paint in two coats with an interval of 4–6 hours between coats. Painting should be carried out continuously from edge to edge of one surface without interruptions. Breaks are allowed only at joints of planes, corners, or architectural elements.

To achieve the best result, a test application is recommended. When repainting, maintain the same binder type to ensure compatibility and vapor permeability of the coating.

Fresh stains can be removed with water, while dried residues should be removed mechanically or with the use of a solvent.

Processing instructions

A minimum of two layers of paint should be applied to a properly prepared (minimum Q3) wall surface. Brushable, rollable, sprayable. Depending on the temperature and humidity of the room and the wall surface, a drying time of at least 2 hours is required before applying the second or further layers.

Warning: We do not accept any responsibility for errors resulting from improper application techniques. Please be sure to order the required paint for a particular surface from one manufacturer's base, if possible, as there may be a minimal colour difference between reordering and ordering from a different manufacturer's base. In order to ensure a homogeneous transition between colours applied in different buckets, we recommend that if the current amount of paint is running out you should mix in the tinted paint from the next bucket, so that colour differences between the two buckets are minimised. Before application, please check the colour shade of the paint on a test area, as we are unable to accept any complaints about the colour shade after application.
