Substrate requirement
The substrate must be sound, level, dry, load-bearing, and frost-free (e.g. gypsum plasterboard), and comply with applicable standards and the manufacturer's recommendations. For absorbent, smooth, or wooden substrates, it is recommended to apply CEMIX 2613 Primer to improve adhesion and reduce substrate absorbency.
To ensure a reliable waterproofing system, it is recommended to use CEMIX 8100 AQUASTOP TAPE for corners and movement joints, CEMIX 8105 AQUASTOP CUFF SMALL for pipe penetrations and service openings, CEMIX 8103 AQUASTOP CORNER IN for internal corners, and CEMIX 8104 AQUASTOP CORNER OUT for external corners.
Substrate preparation
Depending on substrate water absorption and climatic conditions, use CEMIX 2614 DEEP PRIMER on gypsum substrates. On absorbent substrates use Cemix 2613 primer, smooth and wooden substrates roughen and use Cemix 8040 contact bridge. Where applicable, treat non-standard substrates with a suitable method to achieve the required properties. Smooth unevenness of substrate with suitable Cemix materials and allow to dry and cure. The substrate shall comply with applicable codes, standards, or material manufacturer's recommendations.
Preparation of the mixture
Before use, stir up the compound thoroughly using a slow-speed mixer with a suitable attachment.

Processing instructions
Apply the waterproofing compound to the substrate using a brush, roller, or stainless steel trowel in two coats. The approximate consumption for two coats is 0.8–1.0 kg/m².
First, apply the waterproofing to all critical areas, including internal and external corners, joints, wall-to-floor connections, pipe penetrations, and floor drains. While the first coat is still fresh, embed the flexible waterproofing sealing tape, ensuring sufficient overlap to provide a watertight seal. After installing the sealing tapes, apply the first coat of waterproofing over the entire wall and floor surface.
After approximately 1–2 hours (depending on ambient temperature and the absorbency of the substrate), apply the second coat in a crosswise direction, completely covering the sealing tapes.
Until fully cured, the waterproofing layer must be protected from moisture, rapid drying, direct sunlight, rain, and frost.
Tiles may be installed 12–24 hours after the application of the final coat, depending on ambient conditions and the absorbency of the substrate. For tile installation, use only a C2-class tile adhesive.
