- For creating elastic seals during the application of waterproofing layers. Designed for reinforcing expansion joints within waterproofing systems. Suitable for balconies, swimming pools, SPA zones, and bathrooms. Compatible with dispersion-based, polymer-cement, and bitumen-based waterproofing compounds.

Substrate requirement
The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding agents and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough, dry and evenly absorbent. The surface shall not be frozen or water-repellent. The substrate must be stable in volume.
Substrate preparation
Depending on substrate water absorption and climatic conditions, the following is needed: Use Cemix primer 2613 on absorbent substrates. For non-standard substrates, modify with a suitable method to achieve the desired properties. Smooth unevenness of substrate with suitable Cemix materials and allow to dry and cure. The substrate shall comply with applicable codes, standards, or material manufacturer's recommendations.
Processing instructions
Apply a thin layer of waterproofing screed to the pre-prepared substrate using a suitable tool, e.g. a brush, and immediately apply the tape. Roll the tape at the expansion joints. Press the tape in and smooth it. Overlap the tape joints by 10-15 cm. When applying the second layer of waterproofing screed, cover the tape with this material. Press in so as not to damage the tape - do not use sharp tools. Temperature resistance: -30 °C to +90 °C Tensile strength: 190% Waterproof: 0.5bar

Treatment after application
After application, the direct negative effects of sun, heat, humidity and draughts should be avoided. Protect from frost and rain. Direct heating of the surface is prohibited.
