Substrate requirement
The substrate must comply with the applicable standards, must be solid, free of loose particles, free of dust, paint, residues of demoulding agents and efflorescence. It must be sufficiently rough, dry and evenly absorbent. The surface shall not be frozen or water-repellent. The substrate must be stable in volume.
Substrate preparation
Depending on substrate water absorption and climatic conditions, the following is needed: use Cemix 2613 primer on absorbent substrates. For non-standard substrates, prepare the surface using a suitable method to achieve the required properties. Smooth any unevenness of the substrate with Cemix plasters and allow them to dry and cure. The substrate must comply with the applicable codes, standards, or recommendations of the material manufacturer.
Processing instructions
Apply a thin layer of waterproofing compound to the pre-prepared substrate using a suitable tool, e.g. a brush, and immediately apply the cuff. Press the cuff in and smooth it. When applying the second layer of waterproofing compound, cover the tape with this material. Press in so as not to damage the cuff - do not use sharp tools.

Treatment after application
After application, the direct negative effects of sun, heat, humidity and draughts should be avoided. Protect from frost and rain. Direct heating of the surface is prohibited.
